505 Club

The 505 Club is open to all children aged between 5 – 11 years old. It is free for them to attend and the parents do not have to stay, as it is fully supervised. The session on Saturday morning runs for two hours.

There are lots of activities for the children, including arts and craft, table football and snooker, where the children can enjoy themselves and make friends within an environment set up for play. A snack and drink is provided. The Club also organizes field trips for the children.

Saturdays, 10.00-12.00 (term time only) in the main hall

Homework Club

Now in its fourth year at the Bridgelink the sessions offer children, 5 – 11 years, a time slot and a quiet environment to engage in studying. The process involves children bringing their own homework and simply focusing on it. However, the benefits of coming to the homework club include additional support and help if required; this can vary from a staff member listening to children read their book, to practising spellings or number skills or increasing their understanding of the work that has been set.

Tuesdays and Thursday 4.30-6.00pm in the main hall and computer room

This club is aimed at children from 9 – 14 years and provides a range of activities such as table tennis, pool and games consoles, in a safe environment, where the team are able to work with those attending to facilitate their personal, social and educational development, to enable them to develop their voice and to reach their full potential.

The youth club has also organised visits from local community police officers.   There are 75 young people registered on the project. During the summer holidays club members have been able to take part in a number of days out including visits to the cinema, Pizza Express, bowling, kayaking, Hounslow Urban Farm and a climbing centre.
